Pakistan is capable of protecting its homeland: COAS

General Asim Munir, the Chief of Army Staff (COAS), firmly reacted to Indian threats and water aggression on Saturday, affirming that Pakistan is capable of defending its territory.

According to a press release from Inter-Services Public Relations, he stressed during a passing-out parade event that the Two-Nation Theory is still the cornerstone of Pakistan’s existence and that Pakistanis have no reason to question it.

“We Muslims are fundamentally different from Hindus in every aspect of life; our religion, customs, traditions, thoughts, and aspirations are distinct,” Gen. Munir addressed the cadets. He emphasized that the Two-Nation Theory is founded on the understanding that Muslims and Hindus are two distinct nations and emphasized the tremendous sacrifices made by Pakistan’s founding fathers to establish a separate state.

“Our forefathers made unparalleled sacrifices to create Pakistan. He said that a new country was established as a result of their unrelenting efforts”. Pakistan’s existence has always been based on the Two-Nation Theory, and not a single Pakistani has the slightest doubt about it.”

Additionally, Gen. Munir attacked Indian media outlets and social media sites, claiming that they were deploying fake propaganda to distort historical facts. Through misinformation and deception, Indian media, particularly the so-called “Godi media,” is trying to hide the truth. Yet, he said, “No amount of distortion can change history.”

Their attempts to discredit the Two-Nation Theory are ineffective. The Two-Nation Theory was clearly and unequivocally stated by Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, the founding father of Pakistan.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif launches ‘Uraan Pakistan’ plan for economic stability

PM Shehbaz Sharif unveiled ‘Uraan Pakistan’, a five-year plan for national economic transformation.

During the launch event, he stated that the goal of this plan is to guide the nation towards sustained growth based on macroeconomic stability. The plan is based upon valuable input from all stakeholders, including the public and private sectors.

The National Economic Transformation Plan (NETP)-‘Uraan Pakistan’ is based on the 5Es Framework of (i) Export; (ii) E-Pakistan; (iii) Environment and Climate Change; (iv) Energy and Infrastructure; and (v) Equity, Ethics, and Empowerment. Through the use of the 5Es framework, the program seeks to address these issues and offer immediate to intermediate-term remedies for Pakistan’s economic growth and stabilization.

He remarked that local industries should be made more adaptable to increase exports and preserve foreign currency. He says the only way to strengthen Pakistan’s economy is through export-led development.

Shehbaz Sharif stated that the administration has established an annual investment goal of $10 billion and is working to create an atmosphere that would encourage local investment.

He asserted that outsourcing and privatization are essential for preventing significant losses, for which political discussion is required, state-run Radio Pakistan reported.

Earlier during the ceremony, Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb gave a full explanation of the Uraan Pakistan initiative’s goals. He asserted that within three years, the plan would bring Pakistan’s economy up to par with the rest of the world.

He highlighted recent accomplishments, saying, “Pakistan improved the policy rate from 22% to 13%, decreased inflation from 38% to 5%, and recorded a fiscal surplus for the first time in 24 years.” International and domestic investor confidence has increased, and the stock market is currently the second-best performing in the world.

“This is a turning point for the nation’s economic stability,” Aurangzeb said, highlighting the program’s role in creating the foundation for sustainable economic growth. He said that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif established a delivery unit at the Prime Minister’s Office to coordinate the implementation of sectoral plans and roadmaps.

No compromise on Pakistan’s nuclear program: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said there will be no compromise on Pakistan’s nuclear program. The premier believes there is no need to impose restrictions on Pakistan’s ballistic missile development.

Pakistan’s nuclear program is only for defense purposes and would not be utilized aggressively, the prime minister stated while speaking to the federal cabinet today.

The PM also said that there was “no justification” for the recent restrictions imposed by the US on four Pakistani companies for allegedly participating in the nation’s ballistic missile program.

“The sanctions placed upon our National Development Complex and other entities have no justification,” he told the cabinet.

“Pakistan has absolutely no intention to have an aggressive nuclear system. It is 100% for Pakistan’s defense; nothing else,” Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said.

The United States said last week that it was enacting fresh sanctions against Pakistan, which has nuclear weapons, for its long-range ballistic missile development. The penalties also apply to the state-owned defense organization that is in charge of the program.

According to a statement from Matthew Miller, a State Department spokesman, the actions taken against the National Development Complex and three companies were enforced by an executive order that “targets proliferators of weapons of mass destruction and their means of delivery.”

Pakistan responded by calling the sanctioning of National Development Complex and three business firms “unfortunate and biased.”

Pakistan is now considered an “emerging threat” due to its development of long-range ballistic missiles, according to US Deputy National Security Advisor Jon Finer.

Finer claimed that Islamabad’s actions brought up “serious concerns” over the objectives of its ballistic missile program.
