The updated prices will take effect from October 1, 2025 according to an official notification issued by the Ministry of Finance. These revised prices will remain in effect for the next 15 days. The increase is part of the government’s routine review of petroleum prices, which are influenced by fluctuations in international markets and exchange rate changes. Consumers, who are already dealing with inflation and the growing cost of necessities, have responded to the move.
