The federal government announced new rates as part of the fortnightly adjustment, diesel price is decreased by Rs 3 per liter, petrol price is keept unchanged.
Following the change, the new prices for petrol and HSD are Rs 264.61 and Rs 269.99, respectively. Additionally, the prices of light diesel oil and kerosene oil were reduced by Rs 2 and Rs 1, 46 paise per litre, respectively.

The updated prices will take effect from September 1, according to an official notification issued by the Ministry of Finance.
