Lahore: Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has given particular approval to celebrate Eid Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH) with religious zeal and devotion throughout the province.
Eid Milad-un-Nabi is a day to remember the teachings and kindness of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) and the believers regard His birthday out of a desire to show their love and devotion to the Prophet Muhammad (SAW). It is a significant day for Muslims since they begin the day by performing Namaz and participating in other ceremonial practices. Prophet Muhammad’s (SAW) most essential message was peace, love, mercy, sacrifice, human dignity, discourse, variety, and coexistence.

Chief Minister has also issued instructions to involve residents of flood-affected regions in the Eid festivities. Sweets will be supplied to impacted residents in all areas.
The Chief Minister has asked that Naat Rasool Maqbool (PBUH) be presented during Friday’s school assembly. Milad meetings will be conducted in universities, colleges, and schools, where prayers will be offered for the security of the country and the nation, as well as the flood victims.
Sweets will also be supplied to convicts in all jails. Orders have also been issued to adorn and light up government buildings.
